Influence of antioxidant on the properties of NR/SBR/EPDM blending compound

In order to enhance the ozone resistant property of the sidewall rubber comprehensively, it is necessary to add antioxidant in the NR/SBR/EPDM blending system. In this article ,the ratio of the NR/SBR/EPDM is 50/30/20, we investigate the effect of different antioxidant on the properties of the blending compound for the purpose of working out a proper antioxidant system. The experiments turn out that the influence of the antioxidant on the properties varies with different antioxidant. The addition of SP-C, 4010NA, 4020 has a better effect on the anti-thermo oxidative aging property. The BLE has the best effect on the anti-ozone aging property while the MB and SP-C are inferiors.
