Supervision for underwater excavation survey during regulation of navigation course

In order to ensure the normal navigation of the Yangtze River during construction of TGP second stage works, the comprehensive regulation of navigation course must be conducted on the entrance and exit channel of both open diversion channel and temporary shiplock. The regulation works was divided into six contract sections. According to the construction contract and the enforcement rules for construction supervision, the comprehensive supervision was carried out in the whole process of construction of the regulation works so as to enable the survey to be conducted smoothly, and ensure the reliability and accuracy of surveyed data. The survey supervision was divided into four parts, i.e. the controllinng survey supervision, the underwater topographic survey supervision, the completion survey supervision, and check measurement by supervisors. In addition, supervision engineers practically confirmed the change in the works quantity, which not only ensrued the quality of the works, but also safeguarded the contractors' legal interests.
