要想做到安全供电,在设计变电所时应对所采用的高压断路器、电流互感器、母线、电缆等进行必要的短路电流(动、热稳定)校验,为此又必须进行短路电流计算,从而求出最大短路电流值,用以校验电气设备的动、热稳定及分断能力和继电保护装置,还需求出最小短路电流值,用作校验继电保护装置灵敏系数和校验电动机起动的依据。
