| Abstract: | To analyze the fatigue and fracture characteristics of small diameter wire rope using fatigue test with acoustic emission technic and SEM analysis S-N curves and the amount and position of the broken wires are measured,which are used to predict the failure of wire rope The relationship between the fatigue and fracture characteristics of rope and wire and the service life of rope is discussed |
