| Abstract: | In solving distillation problems by Newton-like methods, one of the difficul- ties is to determine the initial values. Basing on the influence of various kinds of initial values on the calculation efficient, this paper gives a method for the determination of initial values for the distillation calculation making it more effective and stable. |
