Predictive Analysis of Noise Reduction Effect of Low Noise Vehicle Retarder

Research purpose:An typical descending hump marshalling station was selected as the test object to conduct reasonable distribution monitoring,and calculate the test value of noise produced by vehicle retarder.Using the numerical analysis method,the noise test value is processed to establish the propagation law equation of the noise characteristic of vehicle retarder.According to this equation,the noise value of each measuring point is compared with the measured value to verify the availability of the propagation equation.Thus,we can scientifically predict the noise reduction effect of the installation of low noise vehicle retarder,and provide an effective analysis method for future hump marshalling station noise test and prediction.Research conclusion:(1)From the time domain and spectrum analysis,the low noise vehicle retarder has obvious effect on noise reduction compared with the ordinary vehicle retarder;(2)From the noise spectrum,the low noise vehicle retarder has an obvious inhibitory effect on the high frequency noise;(3)Through calculation and analysis,if the low noise vehicle retarder is installed in the whole field,it can effectively reduce the noise of factory boundary and residential area environment,and basically meet the requirements specified in the standard.
