Abstract:In order to improve the roll stability of commercial vehicles,an electro-hydraulic control active lateral stabilizer with high control accuracy and large reverse roll torque is designed,which integrates the advantages of hydraulic control and motor control.Taking a 19-seat commercial vehicle in Iveco as an example,a nine-degree-of-freedom vehicle model including steering,pitching,roll and vertical motion of the body is established.A PID+feedforward control strategy is designed for the active transverse stabilizer to improve the control accuracy and reduce the hysteresis.Simulink and Trucksim joint simulation is used to validate the proposed control strategy.On grade B road with adhesion coefficient of 0.8,three different working conditions,fishhook,steering wheel angle step and double shifting line,are simulated.The results show that,compared with the passive stabilizer,the active stabilizer proposed in this paper can reduce the body roll angle,yaw rate,lateral acceleration and center of mass angle by(10~35)%,greatly improving the roll stability of the vehicle.
