一种TCP友好的实时流单播拥塞控制算法*

摘    要:通过分析TCP拥塞控制机制和已有的实时流拥塞控制算法,提出了一种利用RTP/RTCP协议收集QoS信息的基于模型的单播拥塞控制算法——基于拥塞率反传的拥塞控制算法。实验证明,该算法不但具有TCP友好性,而且能在速率恢复阶段减少拥塞再次出现的概率,使实时流速率变化平稳,并且丢包率比参考协议TFRC减小了2/3。

Abstract:A model-based congestion control algorithm for real-time stream unicast,CRFCC(Congestion Rate Feedback Congestion Control) algorithm based on congestion rate feedback,is proposed in this paper,which utilizes RTP/RTCP to collect QoS information periodically.The proposed algorithm defined two kinds of congestion status,including light congestion and heavy congestion.Herein,we proposed an adaptive control algorithm to adjust sending rate to deal with the congestion.The simulation results on NS2 platform have shown that this algorithm is not only TCP friendly,but also can decrease the probability of re-congestion during the recovery phase.Moreover,the proposed algorithm can maintain the smoothness of sending rate and reduce the rate of packet loss to 2/3 compared with TFRC algorithm.
