摘    要:某厂4Cr5MoSiV1钢制铝合金热挤压模出现早期开裂失效现象。通过宏观观察、金相分析、断口分析和硬度检测等方法对失效模具进行了综合评价,结果显示,模具开裂主要是由于其表面存在氧化脱碳层以及模具的设计缺陷所致。

Abstract:Premature failure of a hot extrusion die made of 4Cr5MoSiV1 steel and used for aluminium alloy occurred because of cracking in a certain factory.The failed die was comprehensively evaluated through macroscopic test,metallographic examination,fracture analysis and hardness testing.The results showed that the cracking of die had arisen chiefly from oxidized and decarburized zones present in the case as well as from the improper design.
