摘    要:文章详细介绍了包钢炼钢厂小方坯连铸机电磁搅拌技术在中、低碳钢生产上的应用。经实践证明,电磁搅拌技术能细化钢的晶粒度,使08A1钢的平均晶粒度从9.0提高到9.6;SWRCH35K钢的晶粒度从9.9提高到10.6。同时,电磁搅拌技术能显著改善小方坯生产的中、低碳钢连铸坯的内部质量,扩大铸坯中心等轴晶区,减少中心裂纹和中心偏析,对中碳钢效果尤其明显。

Application of M-EMS on Billet Caster for Producing Medium and Low Carbon Steel

Abstract:The paper introduces application of M - EMS on billet caster for producing medium and low carbon steel in Steel - melting Plant of Baotou Steel in detail. Practice confirms that M - EMS can refine grain size of steel, which can make the average grain size of 08A1 steel increase from 9.0 to 9.6, and the average grain size of SWRCH ~ 35K steel increase from 9.9 to 10.6. At the same time, M -EMS can improve internal quality of continuous casting billet with medium and low carbon steel remarkably, enlarge central equiax crystal zone of casting blank, and decrease centre burst and segregation, which are particularly obuious for medium carbon steel.
