Construction funds for Ertan hydroelectric power station were financed from multi sources. Ertan hydroelectric power station was constructed under new economical system. The Ertan Engineering Corporation(EEC)is responsible for construction,commercial operation and loan payment of the project. Because construction period is long for such large-sized project,investment cost occupies large proportion in total project costs. Main engineering projects were contracted and constructed by international contractors. The ways for cost management are formation of three concepts,grasp of two key Points,execution of cost target management and examination and analysis on reach of cost target.Therefore,project construction was carried out successfully and investment cost was reduced by adopting above-mentioned methods.
