一种高效的分布式缓冲区管理策略

当前，在由路由器架构的Internet中，网络物理层带宽的增加和应用层多媒体等技术的出现对路由器的性能，主要是对路由器的转发能力，提出了非常高的要求。文章着重论述了缓冲区管理技术在提高路由器性能方面的作用。在分析了传统缓冲区管理方式之后，结合项目的分布式特点，提出了一种高效而实现简单的管理策略，描述了建立和使用该策略的协议，最后给出了性能提高的试验结果。

An Efficient Way of Distributed Buffer Management

In the Internet which is constructed by router,the increasing of network physical bandwith and appearance of Multimedia technique demands the very high performance of router. This paper mainly discusses the importance of buffer management in the implementaion of Router. After analyzing some traditional methods,author gives a very efficient and simple way of buffer management,describes its protocol and draws the experiment result.
