| Abstract: | Tests have been carried out on simulated surfaces (produced by a signal generator in conjunction with an analogue computer) and on real surfaces to determine the effect of limited depth of stylus penetration in the characterization and specification of surface texture. This work is directed mainly to the working surface of grinding wheels. |
