| Abstract: | The undercut tooth profile is broadly applied to the hardened-surface gears. Based on the analysis of the basic rack profile of MAAG pre-grinding hob cutters, the paper analyzes the pre-grinding hob in view on the remainder of grinding, amount of undercut and effective length of involute. |
