| 摘 要： | 随着计算机技术的迅速发展和社会需求的不断增大，地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）的应用领域迅速扩大，成为与人类的生存、发展进步密切相关的一门信息科学和技术。该文从实际应用的角度讨论了实施ＧＩＳ系统的的关键技术，介绍了Ｓｍａｌｌｗｏｒｌｄ ＧＩＳ系统及其应用。
