| 摘 要： | 美国俚语作为一种极不规范的语言变体在现代英语中迅猛发展和普及，其形成和发展源于迅速发展的亚文化．美国俚语采用了委婉、比喻和夸张等惨辞手法，新颖、幽默、富于韵律成为其主要语言特点，这些修辞特征和语言特点反映出美国民族创新求异的民族特征．

| Abstract: | American slang, which originates from the quickly increasing sub-culture, develops quickly and gets popular in modem English as an informal language variety. It mainly adopts the rhetorical devices of euphemism, metaphor and hyperbole, resulting in the stylistic features of being fashionable, humorous and rhythmical. The slang embodies the creative spirit in American people. |
