方形组合空气孔微结构光纤的色散特性分析

摘    要:提出一种新型的方形组合空气孔微结构光纤,其包层是由两种不同大小的空气孔组合而成的,借助FDTD(时域有限差分)法计算了这种光纤的几何结构参数的变化对基模色散曲线图的影响。结果表明,这种微结构光纤由于有两套空气孔,具有较强的色散控制能力。通过优化,可以得到较低、较平坦的色散曲线。

Abstract:A new microstructured optical fiber with composite square air-hole lattice is presented, the cladding of which is composed of air holes of different sizes. The effects of the changes of its geometric structural parameters on the dispersion curves of the fundamental mode are analyzed by using the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method. The results show that with two sets of air holes, this microstructured fiber has strong dispersion control capability and relatively lower and more flattened dispersion curves by optimization.
