摘    要:ITU-T G.8032协议只定义了以太环网中一级链路故障情况下的保护方案,对于多级链路故障,缺乏具体的解决方案。文章阐述了ITU-T G.8032中单环和多环的工作原理,分析了多环中存在的问题及缺陷,在此基础上提出了一种针对多环的多级保护倒换机制。该机制利用多环中虚链路的概念,通过对虚链路故障检测以及虚链路保护进行研究,实现了对以太环网中多级链路故障的保护。测试结果表明,多级保护倒换的时间在50ms以内,满足电信级以太网的网络自愈时间要求,提高了以太网的可靠性。

Abstract:The ITU-T G.8032 protocol only defines the automatic protection scheme for Ethernet ring networks when a single link fails, but not when multistage links fail. This paper expounds the working principle of the single ring and multiple rings in the ITU-T G.8032 and analyzes the problems and defects in multiple rings. On this basis, it presents a multistage protection switching mechanism for multiple rings. Using the concept of virtual links in multiple rings, it focuses on the research on the failure detection and the virtual link protection, thus realizing the protection of the multi-stage rings in Ethernet ring networks. The test results show that the multistage protection switching can be accomplished within 50 ms, satisfying the self-healing time requirement of the carrier-class Ethernet networks and improving their reliability.
