| Abstract: | The method is presented to forecast the harmfulness of saturated silty soil liquefaction by using shear wave velocity on the basis of a large number of the actual measurement results of share wave velocity in site and the macroinvestigation information on earthquake disaster. The degrees of soil liquefaction are divided into four classes according to liquefaction index, and the corresponding relations between liquefaction indexes and seismic hazards are given. |
