| 摘 要： | 当前的元数据管理都是倾向于集中式管理,并且依赖于使用集中的元数据仓库,这种方法虽然在OLTP系统中取得了一定成功,但是在数据仓库环境中,却收效甚徽.因此,建立一个新的分布式元数据管理体系是十分必要的.

| Abstract: | Current metadata management products tend to mainframe-oriented and rely on the use of a centralized metadata repository. Although this approach has been somewhat successful in the online transaction processing(OLTP) systems, it has met with limited success in the data warehouse environment. So, a new architecture, distributed metadata architecture should be set up. |
