| Abstract: | In the construction of steel tube - confined concrete columns, it is reasonable to usemultibarrel tubes for increasing of fire-resistance and strengthening of the existing columns toavoid the use of thick-wall tubes for heavily loaded columns. Based on experiments, themechanicaI behavior and the limit analysis of load bearing capacity of this kind of columns aredescribed. |
