摘 要: | 基于当前移动通信技术和产业化发展的需求引出对LTE多模终端的讨论,并对国际和国内多模终端的分类进行简要的介绍,提出LTE多模单待和多模双待两种类型终端的参考架构,并从多模互扰、终端功耗、协议栈和算法的复杂度、语音承载、测量准确度以及初始小区搜索时延等方面对LTE多模终端研发带来的挑战进行了比较深入的分析,最后指出为了满足产业发展需求,同时兼顾终端研发的风险,LTE多模终端的研发应走一条由多模双待终端逐步向多模单待过渡的发展道路。

Abstract: | The paper focuses on the discussion about LTE multi-mode terminal. Firstly the classification of LTE multi-mode terminal international and domestic is introduced briefly and two reference architectures for multi-mode dual standby and sin- gle standby are presented. And then, analysis for the LTE multi-mode terminals for R & D challenges are finished in-depth in terms of mutual interference from multi-mode, the terminal power consumption, protocol stacks and complexity of the algo- rithm, voice bearer, measurement accuracy and the initial cell search delay. At last, it is concluded that in order to meet indus- try needs and meanwhile taking into account the risk of developing the terminal, LTE multi-mode terminals R & D should be developed from multi-mode dual standby terminal gradual transition to multi-mode single standby. |
