| Abstract: | The principle of EGR used to reduce the NOx emitted from diesel engines and the necessity of its application are discussed. The measurement of NOx emission and EGR rate, and the method for EGR control are approached. It is pointed out that to satisfy the emission regulations set for NOx requires other control technologies to be used in combination with EGR. |
