Abstract:Difference between external rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor(ERPMSW)and that of the conventional motor was discussed as well as proposed methods to calculate parameters of permanent magnet synchronous motor with external rotors,such as Fj1 andαi.A computer aided design(CAD)system which was using C++ Builder 6.0 was developed based on the Windows.Through an example of 20P,16.8KW ERPMSW,the CAD system design results and predecessor CAD system design results were compared,and then,the reliability and practicality of the CAD system was proved.
