摘    要:北美位置业务的兴起,源于!"##强制令的颁布;欧洲位置业务的兴起则是市场拉动,由基于位置的增值业务所驱使。位置业务所面临的问题有:要制定全球统一的技术标准来保证设备之间的互操作性,同时还要制定有关责任和隐私权的法律条文。位置业务将使无线内容行业进一步靠近大众市场,从而最终盈利。

Abstract:The spring up of Location -based service in northern America originated from the issue of E911Directive while the spring up of Location-based service in Eu-rope originated from market demand,driven by Location -based value -added services.The main problems faced by Location -based service are to establish unified global technical standards to ensure equipment in-ter-operatability as well as to establish laws related to responsibility and privacy.Location-based service will make the wire-less content industry develop to be close with public market and to benefit from it finally.
