| Abstract: | Local pyrolusite ore from Om‐Bogma, Sinai, has been treated by sulfuric acid leaching process using either sawdust (C6H10O5)n or lactose (C12H22O11) as reducing agent to produce manganese sulfate. The manganese recoveries were 92.5 and 90.5% at sawdust and lactose respectively. |
