Abstract:The quality of the internal structure of the carbon fiber composite material will directly affect the overall performance of the parts.High-frequency ultrasonic attenuation method is used for internal non-destructive testing of carbon fiber composite materials.Under the conditions of an ultrasonic frequency of 30 MHz,a probe distance of 1 cm from the surface of the workpiece and a plasma water medium,the position and shape of internal defects are analyzed and defined by ultrasonic C-scan and X-scan,and the internal defects are confirmed by cutting the sample and through optical microscopic morphology characterization.ABAQUS is applied to simulate the influence of the mechanical properties of the interlayer defects.The results show that different defect sizes and temperature conditions have different influence laws on the fracture strength of the material.
