Abstract: | AbstractA Russia vacuum residue (RVR) was ultrasonically extracted with 15 organic solvents, respectively. The soluble fractions (SFs) were analyzed with a gas chromatography/mass spectrometer (GC/MS). The results show that the extract yields of RVR largely increased with the decrease in the dielectric constant of solvents, i.e., RVR tends to dissolve in weakly polar and non-polar solvents. Most of GC/MS-detectable components in the SFs are chain alkanes and cyclanes. |
