| Abstract: | The complementary variational method is used in computing the leakage magnetic field due tO current carried by the lead wire in a huge transformer. By compering the resultS, can get the method for decreasing the loss of transformer oil tank. In the meantime, the results obtained show that the complementary variational method can be used in the computation of practical engineering problems. |
