摘    要:为了解决在阅读过程中能够方便快速查阅生僻词汇以及录入存储中英文资料等问题,本文以DSP(Digital Siggal Processor)为核心处理器研发了一套电子阅读笔系统.该系统将光学扫描、脱机文字识别和中英互译技术嵌入小型设备,实现了印刷体文字从扫描、识别到翻译的全部功能.实验表明该系统设计方案可行,工作稳定.文中介绍了硬件和软件系统的设计和构成,并详细讨论部分算法的实现原理.

Abstract:In order to solve the difficulties being come across in reading and to register or store materials printed on papers, a new embedded system of electronic reading-pen based on digital signal processor (DSP) was designed and implemented. The system integrates several techniques including optical scanning, offline optical character recognition (Off-line OCR) and Bi-linguistic (Chinese to English, English to Chinese) translation. Experiments prove that the design is feasible and it works well. The constitution of software and hardware of the system is introduced and the implementation of the several key algorithms is discussed in details in this paper.
