| Abstract: | Dongzhimen Interchange Station is one of the crucial infrastructure projects in Beijing. The China-Germany urban design workshop on Dongzhimen Interchange Station was cooperated by Tsinghua University, School of Fine Arts Hamburg and Polytechnic University Braunschweig. It is mainly concerned on the harmony among urban transport, urban space, urban landscape and the function of the city. The workshop also made a bridge over the gap of different cultural backgrounds, and will undoubtedly promote the cooperation in architectural education between two countries. |
