| Abstract: | Money and high-grade energy are being wasted in industrial installations through faults in steam trapping. Steam loss may occur through trap failure or through the installation of wrongly sized traps. the Cv method for estimating steam loss is described. the technique for surveying steam traps is described, based on visual and aural observation and temperature measurement. Finally, a list of applications errors is presented. |
