BP和RBF神经网络在人脸识别中的比较

摘    要:BP和RBF是模式识别中应用最为广泛的2种神经网络,本文将这2种网络应用于人脸识别,分别建立了人脸识别模型。利用ORL人脸图像数据库进行了仿真实验,通过对比分析它们各自的识别率和泛化能力等性能指标,提出了在应用这2种神经网络进行模式识别时应注意的方面。

Abstract:BP and RBF neural networks are widely applied in pattern recognition. These two methods were used for face recognition,and their face recognition models were established respectively. Simulation experiments were carried out using ORL face database. The characteristics of two neural networks,such as recognition rate and generalization ability are discussed,which should be considered in the practical applications of these two types of neural networks.
