| Abstract: | This paper proposes an algorithm to design a cost optimized topology for the fixed part of a mobile network. For the given locations of base stations and mobile switching centers, the algorithm decides the number and position of the base station controllers as well as the way the base stations are connected to the base stations controllers. |
