| Abstract: | It is over 8 years since BF #5 at Iron-making Plant put into production, some problems occurred such as serious hearth erosion and high hot flow of cooling wall, which made effect of guard BF in traditional way disatisfactory. One more effective way by feeding titanium wire from the tuyere has been found, which has got better effect of guard BF. |
