Visual Simulation of Infrared Decoy

It is an widely used infrared countermeasure (IRCM) technology for using the infrared decoy to interfere the infrared guided missiles.In order to study the effect of infrared decoysvisual simulation can be made for the IRCM.Based on the study on infrared decoy characteristicsa particle system was used to simulate the infrared decoy.The visual simulation system was then completed by integrating an aircraft model and a background model.Thenthe targets infrared image could be gained by using infrared imaging algorithm when there is interference.The simulation program was entirely based on C language and OpenGL database，which was platform-independent.The simulation results showed that the proposed method is precise and rapid.
