| Affiliation: | Industrial boilers and furnaces are one of primary sources for air pollution, so the emissions standards of air pollutants are important to environmental protection. In addition to the national standards and local standards, there also exist corresponding emission standards for different industries. In this paper, the national standards for industrial boilers were compared with local standards, and also compared, were the emission limits of industrial boilers for different fuels in national standard. These comparisons indicate the importance of the local standards and the effect of fuel type. The comparison among national standards, local standards and industry standards for the air pollutant emission of industrial furnace showed the industrial furnaces emission limits are loose and its management system is imperfect. So the emission standards for industrial furnaces should be further tightened. Additionally, the mature air pollution control technologies were introduced and believed to provide technical support for reasonably tightening up the emission standards limits. |
