Attaching Great Importance to Technical Development of MTO & MTP, Devoting Major Efforts to Explore New Application of Natural Gas

Based on the analysis of advances in technical development of MTO & MTP across the world, the status of world oil & gas resources, development trends of world methanol, the economic results of MTO & MTP technology, the demand of China' s ethylene & propylene market and the challenge of raw material resources facing increasing ethylene & propylene production, the article puts forward that, comprehensively considering China' s resources status, we should attach great importance to technical development of MTO & MTP. It also suggests using phase development achievement to accelerate the formation of large-scale industrialized complete sets of technology.
