Design of the network style monitoring system based on embedded controller

The 7188E series are a series of embedded controllers designed to meet the most requirements of Ethernet/Internet applica-tions. They can be used to replace the PC or PLC for the harsh environment. A network monitoring system consisting of computer, I-7188E2D and other controllers in workshop is designed. The characteristic and application of I-7188E2D are introduced. This system successfully realizes high speed and reliability communication. Then another approach of applying embedded controllers to tra-ditional network monitoring system is founded.
