Application of Instantaneous Dynamic Characteristic in Nonlinear Analysis of Fram Structure

The basic principle and procedure of static elastic/plastic method are introduced in this paper.A-six storey frame was analyzed by means of SAP2000 program.The transient dynamic characteristic was introduced in the Pushover analysis and it afterward discovered the regularity in the whole progression of elastic,elastic-plastic and structure fault under the various load models.The connection of the transient dynamic characteristic and the deformation,inter-story drift angle,plastic hinge distribution and the process of structure damage was discussed.Consequently,the research indicated that the method was effective.
