| Abstract: | The properties and synthesis of sorbitol are discussed in the paper.The catalytic hydrogenation of glucose at low pressure in the fix bed with Ru-Pd/ACF catalyst is an attractive industrialized technique.The applications of sorbitol in food,medicine,cosmetic,textile,et al.are also discussed in great details. |
