Abstract: | The authors discuss one of the important problems in aviation ophthalmology--correction and treatment of refraction anomaly in flying personnel. They disclose the methods of professional medical rehabilitation provided by the modern science development and analyze the surgical methods of refraction anomaly treatment with their pros and cons. Furthermore, the authors evaluate the prospects of keratotomy and excimer laser keratectomy's application for professional rehabilitation of flying personnel. In their opinion, the results of the study prove, that the problem of refraction anomaly's surgical treatment needs further research and development. |
