Abstract: | The in-plane electron diffraction pattern from single crystals of graphite-bromine intercalation compound has been interpreted in terms of a three-fold twinned monoclinic unit cell having in-plane lattice translations , , and the angle between them γ=103.9°, commensurate with the graphite lattice. The resulting twinned-domain model has been verified by observation of electron diffraction from individual domains. |
