| Abstract: | Summary It is demonstrated that in the process of ultradrawing of semicrystalline polypropylene the morphology of the initial material plays major role. Extremely high draw ratios are obtained ( max 50) when drawing  hard elastic polypropylene films perpendicular to their initial molecular orientation. This behaviour is explained by the molecular processes of plastic deformation. |
