摘    要:采用热分析、原位XPS等方法对 Mo—La2O3阴极中 La的价态进行了研究,探讨了该阴极的发射机理.实验结果表明,在高温下La2O3可以被Mo2C还原成单质La. La2O3-Mo阴极的发射可用原子膜机理解释:在阴极工作过程中,还原得到的 La覆盖在Mo基体表面,降低了基体 Mo的逸出功,促进了阴极的发射根据此机理提出La2O3-Mo电子管制备和运行工艺.使电子管的工作寿命提高到了满足实际应用要求的水平.

Abstract:The valence of element La in La2O3-Mo cathode material has been studied by using thermal weight analysis and in situ high temperature X-ray photoelectron spectrum. On the basis of experiment result, the emission mechanism of La2O3-Mo cathode has been discussed. It was proved that molybdenum carbide can reduce lanthanum oxide to metallic lanthanum. The emission of La2O3- Mo cathode can be explained as the formation of a monoatomic layer of metallic lanthanum at the surface of a filament. The momoatomic La surface layer has a lower work function than clean molybdenum. Based on the emission mechanism, the preparation and operation techniques of La2O3-Mo electron tubes have been presented. By using the new techniques, the lifetime of La2O3-Mo cathode was improved to the level of practical uses.
