| Abstract: | At the Ironmaking works of Qianan Steel four blowers serve three blast fur-naces, with one of the four blowers as a standby. At emergency shutdown of a blower the air distributing system would be started to greatly reduce the effect of a blower failure on blast furnace production. Practical operation of the air distributing system has brought favorable re-sult. |
