| Abstract: | ABSTRACT Researches, conducted recently at home and abroad, on the temperature distribution of steel members exposed to fires are reviewed in this paper. A number of methods on how to determine the development of temperature in steel members under fire conditions are presented including those adopted by European and British codes. These methods are respectively for three kinds of steel members - uninsulated members, insulated members and steel members with non - uniform temperature profile. |
