Application of Icepak in Thermal Design of Liquid-cooling Electronic Equipment

With the rapid increase of thermal flux of electronic equipment, thermal simulation software is used in thermal design more and more widely. This article elaborates basic design ideas and general schemes of thermal design through the thermal design calculations of the large power equipment in a compact radome operating in harsh environment condition. The application of Icepak throughout the design process is discussed in detail, and the importance of simulation software in thermal design is highlighted.
