基于CompactPCI总线的双冗余千兆以太网接口模块设计

摘    要:设计了一种基于CompactPCI总线的双冗余千兆以太网接口模块。该模块采用Intel 82546芯片作为核心器件,通过CompactPCI总线与外部主设备相连。设计了满足Intel 82546上电时序要求的电源时序控制电路。通过原理验证、信号完整性分析提高了设计稳定性,冗余技术的使用,虽然增加了系统的复杂度、设计难度和投资,但却大大提高了系统的可靠性,减少了故障时间,达到了预期目的。此模块可广泛应用于采用CompactPCI总线的对可靠性要求较高的抗恶劣环境计算机中。

Abstract:A gigabit Ethernet interface card with redundant ports based on CompactPCI bus is designed. Intel 82546 chip is used as core device in the design, and CompactPCI multibus is used for the connection between the host computer and the chip. Power control circuits is used to meet the requirement of power-on timing of the chip. The design stability is improved though principle validation and signal integrity analysis, although the use of redundant technology increases the complexity, design difficulty and investment, the reliability of the system is greatly improved, the time to failure is reduced, achieving the desired purpose. This Ethernet interface card can be widely used in the anti-harsh environment computers based on CompactPCI bus.
