Abstract:This paper makes an extension to the existing perturbation analysis of discrete event dynamic systems and general queueing networks. The new concept of queueing length perturbation is proposed. A new method called full-state perturbation analysis is developed, in which the event time perturbations and queueing length perturbations are considered simultaneously. And it is also successfully used to calculate the performance sensitivity to the changes of customer numbers in closed queueing networks. Experimental results verify the validity and accuracy of this new method.
